Top 10 Unsung Heroes of Lockdown



      In this pandemic period of COVID 19 there was a huge distruction to the country. People lost their jobs, houses, families and they were totally disturbed by mentally and physically. Lots of people were in great trouble and they really needed help. So the government was already looking after this but there were also some unsung heroes in this condition who were nowhere behind in helping people. Many people who were capable to help were helping but there were some who was donating their whole savings. And this is very rare in today's world. 

  So here are some top 10 Unsung heroes of Lockdown.

10.

                                  Ridhi 

 She is Ridhi from Hyderabad and she is just 11 year old studing in 6th standard. She donates to raise money for poor hit by coronavirus lockdown, which she donated 9.4 lakhs from her savings. Ridhi also distributed 725 kits of ration to poor people. This is great act of kindness of little girl with very big heart.

    National Law School of India University

 During the lockdown migrants labours were in big trouble. They were told to book online tickets even though knowing that they were too poor to do that. So, National Law School of India University helped this labours to reach their home towns. They send 180 migrants workers from Bengaluru to Chattisgarh's capital Raipur through charter plane which were hired by the Alumni of the National Law School of India University by using donations from good Samaritans.


8. There are 3 old ladies.

1.
                 Gurudev Kaur Dhaliwal

  She is 98 years old from Monga, Punjab. There was shortage of masks when COVID was started, so this great lady started stitching masks and distributed it to the people free of cost.

                         Khalida Begum
  
Khalida Begum is from Jammu and Kashmir. This great muslim lady donated her all savings which was raise for Hajj to RSS Afiliate. And she donated 5 lakh rupees.

                           Sulbha Uskar 

    Sulbha Uskar from Madhya Pradesh and she donated one lakh rupees from her pension's money to MP CM's Relief Funds.

                      CE Chakunny 
     
 Mr CE Chakunny is from Kozhikode, Kerala. He owns 100 shops in Kozhikode and all his shops were  rented but he didn't took the rent during the pandemic time after knowing that they were not able to pay him his rent after bearing loss of 12 lakh rupees . It's a great gesture  by him.

                         Akshay Kotwal 

   Akshay Kotwal is from pune and he is auto- rickshaw driver from Pune. He uses money which was saved for his wedding to feed migrants. He said that this was his duty to feed those who were starving. And he was doing it everyday considering as his celebration.

                            Jayant Bora

     Jayant Bora is 40 year old man from Biswanath district, Assam. He aimed to feed more than 10,000 families and he has done it perfectly. He had fed 10,000 families in lockdown. Also he spread awareness of maintaining hygiene and social distancing.

                     Chef Vikas Khanna

    Although we all know famous chef Vikas Khanna but we don't know about his work. Yes, he provided 10 millions meals to street vendors in 125 cities. So he has done absolutely great work.

                       Dev Kumar Verma

  Dev Kumar Verma who lives in Dhanbad from Jharkhand has provided lots of necessary things to the poor people in 85 villages of Jharkhand. He served more than one lakh needy people. Thousands of meals to the thousands of labourers who worked there in coal mines. Besides he runs three schools for children to educate them.

              Baba Karnail Singh Khaira
 
   He is 81 year old man and has fed more than 2 million people during lockdown. It was hard for him to see the condition of the people who were walking down the highway. He saw people carrying multiple children, one child tied to the back, one in their hands. After seeing this long lines of people on the roads streched all the way back, he immediately made team of 17 volunteers and started helping the needy ones.

                K Kamalathal ( Idli Amma)

     She is from Tamil Nadu and she is making idlis since 30 years but in this locky despite losses ,she sold idlis for Rs 1 so migrants are fed. Salute to her work and salute to all our unsung heroes who helped every needy ones. We should talk about them as much as possible because they are inspirations of today's world. May hope so our country get more inspirational personalities like them so that we can achieve more greatness.
